This L.E.D mirror exceeded my expectations in a couple ways. I'll start by mentioning the packaging. The mirror was packaged extremely well. It was placed in two boxes, with Styrofoam surrounding every part to make sure that no scratches, chips, dents or dings occurred during transit. It's nice to know that the company cares about the customer, and product integrity enough to take the extra steps needed to ensure the quality isn't jeopardized during transit. Everything that was supposed to come with the mirror was included in the box. All the hardware was organized and separately bagged, which made it easier to find. The quality of the mirror, overall, is great. It's a thicker mirror. The quality of the reflection is good. It's nice and clear, it's not distorted in any way. The lighting works exactly how it should work. This was my first time installing an L.E.D mirror. But the instructions were clear, it took me through, step by step. It's important for you to know that there are three options for how you could use this mirror.Option One is you could simply hang the mirror, and plug it into the nearest outlet.*The wiring from the mirror will be noticable. But you should be able to use the mirror lighting and features whether the light switch is flipped on or off.Option two is that you cut out a small hole in the drywall, behind where the mirror will hang. And run the wires from the mirror to the nearest bathroom light fixture, and connect the wires.*You won't be able to use the mirror lighting or other features unless the light switch is flipped on.Option three involves doing step number two. As well as cutting a hole in the drywall, from the mirror to the nearest outlet. And feed the wire from the mirror to the outlet. So the wires can be connected at the outlet. That way the mirror will be getting it's power source from the outlet instead of the light fixture. You'll then have to replace and repair the drywall.*The wires won't be visible because they'll be behind the wall. The mirror will always have a power source. So it should always work, whether the light switch is flipped on or off. You'll be able to use all the features that the mirror has to offer.*It's much more difficult to do this. You'll need to repair drywall.Option number three is the more difficult route to take. So I did the second, easier option. I will, however, complete the three option when I complete my bathroom remodel. As I said, I did option number two. I cut a small hole in the drywall, behind the mirror. And ran the wire to the light fixture. I can only use the mirror and features when I flip on the light switch. But the features work the way they should work. It's really cool that I can adjust the warmth of the lighting, to my specific desire. I took a video but it looks so much better in person.I highly recommend this mirror. And when I start on my other bathroom remodels, I will definitely be buying more of these mirrors from this company.
